Our goal with the Circle Facilitation Training is to give people the tools to confidently hold spaces for compassion, care & community, while also pushing for a more communal and inclusive access to these spaces. That means making the course accessible to a broad range of people, including those who don’t have the financial resources to pay for it. We are offering a pay what you can model for those who need it most.
This is a very challenging time financially for many and we allocate a proportion of places on each course as bursary places. We ask that you apply only if you are experiencing true financial hardship as there is there is a huge demand for spaces and the Circle Facilitation Training can only run if those who are able to pay full price, do.
The 'Considerations' document below will help you determine whether a bursary place is for you, or whether you might need a longer term payment plan.
BURSARY APPLICATION PROCESS:
Step 1: Read the Sister Stories Bursary Application: Considerations here.
Step 2: Submit your application form.
Step 3: We will review your application.
Step 4: You will receive a notification through email regarding your application status; this is usually a few days before the course starts.
BURSARY OPTIONS
We offer three levels of bursary, the details and payment arrangements of which are outlined below.
These bursaries are funded by fully-paid places, and so, to ensure the training remains sustainable, there are limited places for each level, and we get a large number of applications for each place. Please think carefully about which level you can most realistically and legitimately afford.
You will be asked to indicate on your application which bursary you are applying for.
FULL BURSARY: Sister Stories will cover the cost of your entire tuition, with a £ 20-a-month fee payable for six months during the course to cover basic costs (£20 a month - paid over six months)
PARTIAL BURSARY: Sister Stories will cover three-quarters of the cost of your tuition, meaning you would pay £110 a month, for six months, during the course (£660 in total - paid over six months)
HALF BURSARY: Sister Stories will cover half of the cost of your tuition, meaning you would pay £152.78 a month for six months, during the course (£1370 in total - paid over six months)
