2019 TrainingS: 6th-8th DECEMBER

If you yearn for more connection, community and to develop skills that can support you emotionally and financially, training to lead a Sister Stories circle in your area could be for you.

We are building a global community, and inviting a network of compassionate and committed facilitators to join us on this road to creating spaces where women can tell their stories and share their experiences freely.

We believe in the value of real life communities designed to meet the needs of the local area. The way a group gathers in London, for example, will be very different to the way a group gathers on the Isle of Arran or a town in Iowa, and we encourage facilitators to create their circles to best suit their local area.

In Winter 2019, we are offering the third facilitator training programme for women based in the UK. Led by Gemma Brady and Sophie Howarth, it is designed to equip women from all walks of life with the set of skills to lead Sister Stories events in their community.

The training includes:

  • A full weekend of facilitation training with Gemma and Sophie.  A combination of practical facilitation guidance, emotional work to support you in stepping into your leadership and community building, you will leave the weekend ready to lead your first circle. With beautiful food prepared by Roots and Shoots London, you will emerge feeling nourished and inspired.

  • Copy templates for events, visual guidelines and hot off the press Sister Stories branding to help you promote your events.

  • Access to a private Facebook community with support from Gemma, Sophie and the rest of the group to give continued mentorship, guidance on any issues you are experiencing related to Sister Stories and really strengthening your bond with the group.

  • 4 x community calls over the course of your first year of facilitation, helping you to make Sister Stories a sustainable and nourishing part of your life.

Sister Stories Facilitation is for you if:

  • You feel strongly called to facilitate Sisterhood.

  • You are ready to say ‘yes’ to an opportunity that could transform both you and the community you live in.

  • You value a supportive, nurturing environment in which to take the leap and grow.

  • You feel aligned with our mission, and have some experience of creating space for compassion, community and connection.

  • You are committed to developing yourself, your feminine leadership and are looking for a space in which to be held while you defy your own expectations of what is possible.

  • You absolutely love the idea of being on a journey of creation, depth, adventure and purpose alongside a group of fabulous women.
