A ceremonial path to re-enchant your work from the inside out.
Come and gather around our fire, where sacred work is rekindled through beauty, authenticity and the company of women who are choosing to move differently.
Medicine is a four-week ceremonial immersion for women who gather, hold, create and serve.
Here, we invite you to discover what becomes possible when you stop creating from urgency and start creating from devotion. In this space, we find the path to make your work your medicine.
It is possible to hold work of deep integrity, soul and impact, AND do it without sacrificing yourself on the altar of patriarchal hustle culture.
It is possible to build a meaningful body of work and be well-resourced by it.
It is possible to be your full, wise, tender, sensitive, visionary self AND make a meaningful impact.
WHAT WE’LL MAKE POSSIBLE
During this four-week immersion, this is the sacred work we will do together….
~ A ceremonial journey and a practical recalibration: a series of powerful sessions over four weeks ~
Creating a new relationship to our work - one rooted in reciprocity, rest and regeneration
A reconnection with our work as our medicine
A different way of moving through the world
A pace. A posture. A politics.
Pace
We will be slower, softer, deliberately counter to the models that keep us in relentless motion, but never quite let us arrive at where we want to be. Led by seasons and cycles rather than algorithms and urgency.
Posture
We will carry ourselves differently, in a way that is more open and receptive, rooted in listening rather than pushing and forcing. We will hold a devoted refusal to replicate the models that keep us in urgency and stress.
Politics
We will forge and foster a commitment to finding ways of working that nourish rather than deplete. That serve without extracting and that know how to lead without dominating. Together, a movement of women making our work our medicine.
HOW WE’LL GATHER
Four Monday ceremonies, 90 minutes each, held live at 1pm.
This is where the real work happens, together in the room, in real time, in the company of women who are choosing the same different way.
Two live Q&A sessions on Thursdays at 12pm in weeks two and three
Space to integrate, ask, breathe, and let what has moved through you settle into something real.
A weekly workbook to carry the thread of each ceremony into your days
Prompts, practices, and invitations to keep the dialogue with your work alive between sessions.
A dedicated community space online
Where we can share the energy and momentum of the space between sessions.
All sessions recorded, and yours to keep, no expiry.
““Medicine brought a softening, a reclaiming of my power, fire, wisdom and innate gifts.””
WHY THIS PROGRAMME IS CALLING YOU
“Today, like every other day, we wake up empty and frightened,
Let the beauty we love be what we do.”
When we follow this pull to do heartwork, we begin on our path with energy and devotion. We long to spend our days in service to something sacred
And then we bump up against the inherited models and systems we live and work in. There are bills to pay. Responsibilities to meet. Money to make. Social media algorithms to feed.
And because of how dominant culture has shaped us, we often meet those demands in one of two ways:
with BRACE energy (freezing, shrinking, holding back)
or PUSH energy (hustling, extracting, forcing)
Both are utterly exhausting.
If you’ve been struggling inside those models, you are not broken. You may simply be at a threshold of deep recognition that you are not available for ways of working that are no longer yours.
This is the kind of threshold that asks us to find a path to return to the soul of our work. A return to what is complete, what is alive, what is emerging. A return to a more truthful, sustainable rhythm for the season ahead.
THE SHAPE OF OUR WORK
THIS IS BOTH A CEREMONIAL JOURNEY AND A PRACTICAL RECALIBRATION.
We dream. We rest. We write. We move towards.
The aim is to loosen our grip on the idea that we need to DO more and, instead, to guide you to create momentum from a place of listening, alignment, and deep inner attunement.
These 90 minutes, invested at the beginning of each week, are designed to shape what follows, so that the actions you take come from a more grounded, devoted, and aligned place.
The work we do here is both devotional and practical: spacious enough for real listening, structured enough to create movement.
Week One: Honouring the soul of your work
We begin with the exquisite simplicity and revelatory act of listening. In our first ceremony together, you'll be guided into a meditative space to meet the soul of your work and its essence, its energy, its being. This is the practice of treating your work not as a task to complete or something to wrestle with, but instead, as a living entity to be in devoted partnership with.
You'll leave this week with a soul statement: a living articulation of what your work is truly here to do.
Week Two: Releasing what has gone before
Before we can call in the new, we must honour what has lived. This week, we hold a ceremony of release, writing a eulogy for the version of your work, and the version of you, that has carried you to this threshold. We name the inherited patterns, the outdated identities, the ways of working that were never truly yours.
You'll leave this week lighter, with clear sight of what you are no longer available for, and the first whispers of what wants to come with you.
Week Three: Listening for what is alive now
From the clearing, we turn toward emergence. Using two doorways- the fire of embodied knowing and the enchantment of imaginal intelligence- we listen for what is genuinely alive in you and your work right now. We make ourselves available for magic.
You'll leave this week with one right-sized step to move your work forward: grounded, honest, deeply yours.
Week Four: Devoting to the next truest way
We close with a powerful integration ceremony. You'll craft a devotional mission, think less of a brand statement, more of a vow. A compass to return to when life feels hard and work feels sticky. We name the thread you're taking into the next season, and we cross the threshold together.
You'll leave this week with a devotional practice, a living mission and the felt sense of someone who has remembered who she is.
“In a world where we think of work as something we do, outside of ourselves and in detriment to our wellbeing, Medicine is the opposite of that. It’s a journey into our work as the medicine we bring forth and the one that many times we needed for ourselves. It’s an energy that moves through us as something being brought forth with reverence and devotion. If deep down you feel your Medicine, your work, whispering to you to journey together to nourish more friendship and regenerative co-creation, this journey is definitely for you.””
THE COMMUNITY WE WILL BE HELD IN
When we have run this journey in the past, it has felt enlivening, soothing, enchanting, clarifying and given participants that sweet sense of being in this together, a feeling that can only come from doing the work in community.
This community is for you if you feel resonance with some, or all, of this:
You know your work is ultimately in service to others, and you want to do it without losing yourself in the doing.
You have been holding something - a practice, a business, a creative body of work, a community - and somewhere along the way, it started to feel heavier than it should.
You can feel a season closing, but haven't yet found the shape of what comes next.
You are tired of the models that ask you to push, prove and perform, and you are ready, genuinely ready, to try a different way.
You long to do work of deep integrity and be well-resourced by it. You are done believing those two things are in opposition.
You are drawn to ceremony, to slowness, to the kind of space where something real can move through you… and you have been waiting for permission to prioritise that.
You want to be in the company of women who are choosing the same, different way.
You have some flexibility in how you shape your time, or you’re willing to carve out space for your soul work alongside your existing commitments.
You are willing to show up, stay in the process, and trust what emerges, even when it is subtle, even when it is slow.
“Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.”
my story & credentials
Before founding Sister Stories, I held senior roles in broadcasting and was an award-winning documentary maker. I was used to doing meaningful work that reached millions, but something in me longed for more connection, truth and soul.
Sister Stories came to me as a clear, almost otherworldly flash of inspiration. The name, the format, the vision… it arrived fully formed. To this day, I don’t know quite how to explain it, only that I listened, I followed the impulse. I said yes.
Holding circles was my creative response to a desire for more connection, more soulful ways of relating and more truth. I had no 'plans' for it. I simply got into the practice of tuning into what felt most true and alive to me, found the words and images that best represented that, and shared them with the world. And each event sold out.
Over the next four years, I followed that same path - slow, gentle, attuned. I listened for what felt like the next right step. In 2021, it felt right to take the work full-time and within five months, Sister Stories became a six-figure business that supports both me and my family.
Since running Medicine for the first time in 2025 and several times since, everything has deepened.
I’ve reduced my workload by a third, including taking the entirety of the school holidays off. And yet, this is on track to be my biggest year in my business to date.
This isn’t a coincidence.
It is the embodied result of walking this path - less striving and hustling and grasping, more attunement. Less noise, less action for action’s sake, less feeding Meta’s content machine. More listening.
It’s been the simplest, most aligned and alive year of my work yet.
It’s a living testament to what happens when we truly make our work our medicine.
Over the years, I’ve had many people ask me to share how I built a thriving, soul-led business. I even became a CPD-accredited business strategist in order to do that work more fully. But what I’ve found, over and over, is this:
You can have all the strategy in the world, but if you’re depleted, disconnected, or out of integrity with your work’s true essence, it won’t land.
What matters most is your relationship to the work itself.
Being rested. Being resourced. Being in the right relationship.
Having the courage to resist the grind, the moulds, the noise and do things differently.
That’s what Medicine is here to hold.
And in offering this, I must name two teachers whose work has shaped my own path:
Nisha Moodley and Hiro Boga, both of whom offered me not just the phrase “the soul of my work,” but the deep permission to relate to my business as something sacred, alive, and worthy of devotion.
“I wanted to let you know how inspiring, supportive, and nurturing Medicine has been. Sister Stories showed up in my life just when I needed it. It was a place to nurture myself as I moved through grief, came back to life and began to dream again.”

FAQS
-
No- the entirety of this course will be recorded, and available to you on Teachable indefinitely. But, the most potent experience will be accessed by showing up live.
-
This course is designed for those who want to work soulfully outside the 9-5.
You may already be doing this but find it hard to keep going, or find focus; and if you have a business or soulful work path already, this will allow you to achieve new depth with your work.
It may be that you do not yet have an existing business, and instead are looking for a way to activate an idea or practice and deepen your relationship with it, so that, in time it becomes a reality. You are in the right place! It is worth noting that six weeks is not enough time to get your soul’s work completely up and flying- that takes time, devotion, consistent action and effort. This course will however support you with foundational working practices so you can keep momentum as you move forward.
-
This course is not aligned with any spiritual path or dogma. People of all faiths or no faith are welcome. It will appeal to those of you who have an open mind and heart to take guidance from something outside yourself- that might be spirit, it might be a muse- we are open to all possibilities here. We want you to be getting out of your head and into the work of the heart. -
This is not one of those space and to do so would be antithetical to the spirit of the programme.
We are not centred around strategy, we are centered around the process of creating from a place that feels softer, more generative and sustainable in the long term. I have personally seen results from this approach consistently over 7 years; in fact, I don’t think Sister Stories would exist without it.
This is an invitation to develop a philosophy and new way of work that can sustain you for life.

Our refund policy is in line with your statutory rights- you can receive a refund up to 14 days after signing up.

No! Although we are a Circle organisation and my primary experience is in running this kind of business and work, this programme is for anyone who does soulful work.
