A 3 MONTH GROUP JOURNEY WITH GEMMA BRADY

As the dark days of winter draw to a close and the promise of Spring beckons, an intimate group of us will make a commitment to embark on a 3 month journey together. In this container from February until April, trust and devotion allow us to drop down a layer into deeper connection with ourselves and the group, forming relationships and bonds that will continue far beyond our time together.
Last Autumn, I brought together a group of 7 women for 3 months of regular circles and it was powerful, magical and none of us wanted it to end. We closed the year together, and 14 months on, the connection of the group is as strong as ever. Once again, I am opening the doors for a small group of women to step into a 3 month journey of personal growth, transformation and community. Places are now available here.

This is not about needing to share more boldly or deeply, although that is of course welcome. This is about forging authentic bonds and allowing our individual experience to emerge from and contribute to the support of collective experience. It is about allowing the silent connections we weave to hold us in unexpected ways.
There are layers within each of us to be unpeeled that can only occur in the safety of a group where trusted bonds are being formed and a path is being walked together.
I have been part of several groups of a similar nature in the past and am part of one now. It has become a gateway to greater courage, compassion, friendship and inner transformation. When the moment comes to step into this experience, there is a sense of having found something one didn’t even know was lost. If this invitation ignites something within, I encourage you to listen.

THE FORMAT:
The journey will consist of six sacred gatherings supported by a private WhatsApp group to continue our conversations and support us between meetings. I will provide optional reading and journaling prompts to deepen this period of exploration and expansion.
We will hold a ceremonial circle designed to bond us as a group and to enable us to bring our full selves to the experience. At the end of our three months, we will hold a ceremonial closing circle to give thanks for experience and look into what lies beyond.
The circles in between will be a mixture of the current sharing style and themed circles which I will create depending on the needs of the group. It is my intention to enable the group to take the collective journey that is called for, but to ensure this is rooted in the simplicity and purity that has shown itself to be the beating heart of Sister Stories.
It is my job to hold the space, to feel into the needs of the unique group and to design each circle based on the emergent needs of this special community.
It is your job to commit to the gatherings, enter the space with an undefended heart and to trust the process. That is all.

There was something so special about spending that time observing a whole season together. It was such a perfect backdrop as we built an understanding of each other and were able to hold each other in a different way than we do in the one off circles. We built a connection that will last a life time. I unravelled some really knotted parts of myself, and I softened and my compassion for the other women grew and provided me such a safety net. The journey was more than just the circles, we used WhatsApp and email to share and vent and support, it was a truly special event. One that I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to be part of.”

THE BENEFITS:
There is a mysterious power in being ‘held’ in a women’s group of this kind. Having taken part in similar groups myself, I have found my confidence has increased, my connection to myself has deepened allowing me to make bolder decisions, I have been better able to communicate my needs. A very nervous public speaker, the practice of sharing has allowed me to gain confidence in my voice and use it to communicate more powerfully. I have deeper relationships and an increased social conscience. All round, the impact has been pretty huge. I believe in this format as a deeply transformational tool and have the confidence that comes with having experienced it first hand.
The most tangible benefit is the deep, deep bonds that the group forms which will last far beyond our time together.
THE DATES:
Each gathering will be held from 7-9:30pm in a private, domestic space in Highbury (N5). The dates for the gatherings are:

In order to participate, you must be a able to attend 5 of the gatherings.
THE INVESTMENT:
The investment for this journey is £279 (incl. VAT) per person for access to the entire group journey and ongoing access to a supportive online community (Facebook or WhatsApp, depending on the preferences of the group). For the women who attended the 2018 journey, the investment of time, energy and financial resource into the gatherings has paid dividends far beyond the 3 months itself- the bonds formed in such a safe, nourishing container are to be treasured and nurtured for years to come.
