Sister Stories is an evening for women to come together; to be seen and heard; and experience a creative, expansive evening of truth telling, healing, and transformation.
Grounded in the primal and magical traditional of storytelling, deepen your sense of connection to self and other; and experience the simple joy that comes from knowing we’re all in it together. With a growing community of support and sisterhood, the experience extends far beyond the evening events.
This gathering will be lead by Sophie Howarth. Sophie is a writer, curator and coach. She was the co-founder of The School of Life and founder of Department Store of the Mind. She is also the author of several books and leads the teaching faculty at Year Here. In all her work she supports people to find joy and meaning by deepening connection to themselves and one another.
Communities have been gathering to tell each other stories since the beginning of time. Stories are the fabric that knit our lives together, strengthening our bonds to one-another through the universal themes of humanity. Stories surround us, empower us, comfort us, and deepen our sense of compassion and connection. The act of telling our stories is one of the most simple and life affirming experiences we can enjoy together. Come, join us.
We'll come together in small, cosy gathering and will share an experience, a story, or theme relating to womanhood. The discussion will be led, so there's no pressure to speak, we just ask that you bring openness and the desire to connect.
Sister Stories gatherings are held in beautiful, calming and private spaces. This event will be held in the London Fields area. Upon confirming your attendance, details of the exact address of the gathering will be sent to you.
