This moon

is the same one our ancestors gathered under

as they sat in circle, sharing stories.

The gift they bestowed upon us;

this treasured art of storytelling

is our medicine.

In circle we find connection,

Share fears and let stagnant feelings go.

Like shards of glass we can no longer hold onto

releasing our words into the sky

they reform into breath-taking constellations

By letting go we create something
